About the Opportunity
Wisdom RecruitmentS is proud to represent a premier, diversified healthcare delivery network with a coast-to-coast presence in the United States. We are seeking a mission-driven Director of Pharmacy to lead a dedicated clinical team in Vernal, Utah.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will hold a vital leadership role, directing departmental resources and strategy to ensure exceptional patient care and operational excellence within the community.
Key Responsibilities
➤ Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement departmental goals, standards, and plans consistent with clinical, legal, and ethical objectives.
➤ Operational Oversight: Direct departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, and quality control.
➤ Team Management: Plan and monitor staffing activities (hiring, orienting, and performance evaluations) while fostering an environment for professional growth.
➤ Financial Stewardship: Prepare and monitor departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding.
➤ Compliance & Audits: Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations (including HIPAA).
➤ Clinical Excellence: Integrate evidence-based practices into daily operations and clinical protocols.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
✅ Licensure: Valid Utah Pharmacy License (or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start date).
✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
✅ Experience: Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
✅ Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
✅ Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
