Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Permanent

Salary: $111,000.00 – $126,000.00

Signing Bonus: $10,000 – $15,000

Travel: Up to 20% travel required.

Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement plans, and Generous Paid Time Off (PTO).

Reporting: Reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Opportunity

WisdomRecruitmentS.com is seeking an accomplished and strategic Market Director of People Services (HR Director) to join the executive team of a prominent healthcare provider in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

This high-impact, onsite role requires a dynamic leader to direct all departmental activities and resources, ensuring HR strategy aligns with the highest clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards of the organization. You will be a key decision-maker, managing the full employee lifecycle and fostering a culture of professional growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

The Director will be responsible for providing functional independent judgment and strategic oversight, including:

Developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with organizational and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).

Directing and evaluating departmental operations, service level determination, and complaint management to meet performance and quality objectives.

Planning and monitoring all staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance reviews, and administering corrective action for staff.

Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding.

Leading and directing internal/external HR and compliance audits.

Creating an environment that encourages professional growth and ensures the department maintains its vital role in the continuum of care.

Qualifications & Experience (Must-Haves)

To be considered for this critical position, candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:

Prior experience in a Human Resources Director or similar senior leadership role.

Minimum of four (4) years of professional Human Resources experience within a healthcare setting (acute care/hospital experience is a significant asset).

Proven expertise in employee relations and managing complex HR situations.

Skilled in applying policies and procedures and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).

Ability to manage multiple projects, delegate tasks, and provide high-level functional judgment.
