Job Description

Location: Beaverton, OR, USA

Compensation: $43.33 USD/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (40 hours/week)

Duration: 12-month contract

Note: This is a fully on-site position.

For one of our clients in the US, a leading multinational corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer. This is a 12-month contract position based in Beaverton, Oregon, and only U.S. citizens will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

➤ Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents to ensure minimal downtime across the client’s global campus, manufacturing, and distribution centers.

➤ Implement and manage network configuration changes, including switchport updates, VLAN modifications, and routing adjustments.

➤ Utilize advanced network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.

➤ Administer the Palo Alto firewall infrastructure using Panorama to manage security policies and maintain robust network segmentation.

➤ Manage IP addresses and DNS records using IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat.

➤ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain comprehensive documentation of network procedures and configurations.

➤ Work within an Agile development environment, using JIRA for task tracking and project management.

Required Qualifications

✅ A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.

✅ Extensive expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including Catalyst Switches (9300-9600 series) and Nexus platforms.

✅ Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols like EIGRP and BGP, as well as VRF-lite.

✅ Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and centralized management using Panorama.

✅ Direct experience with IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat.

✅ Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms like ServiceNow.

✅ Relevant vendor certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE) are highly valued.

✅ Experience with Python for network automation is a significant plus.
