Location: Beaverton, OR, USA

Compensation: $43.33 USD/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (40 hours/week)

Duration: 12-month contract

Note: This is a fully on-site position.

For one of our clients in the US, a leading multinational corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer. This is a 12-month contract position based in Beaverton, Oregon, and only U.S. citizens will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents to ensure minimal downtime across the client’s global campus, manufacturing, and distribution centers.

Implement and manage network configuration changes, including switchport updates, VLAN modifications, and routing adjustments.

Utilize advanced network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.

Administer the Palo Alto firewall infrastructure using Panorama to manage security policies and maintain robust network segmentation.

Manage IP addresses and DNS records using IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain comprehensive documentation of network procedures and configurations.

Work within an Agile development environment, using JIRA for task tracking and project management.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Extensive expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including Catalyst Switches (9300-9600 series) and Nexus platforms.

Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols like EIGRP and BGP, as well as VRF-lite.

Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and centralized management using Panorama.

Direct experience with IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat.

Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms like ServiceNow.

Relevant vendor certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE) are highly valued.

Experience with Python for network automation is a significant plus.
