Join a Leading Home Appliance Manufacturer as a Payments Product Owner / Payments Lead

Wisdom RecruitmentS is actively searching for a skilled and strategic Payments Product Owner / Payments Lead to join a globally recognized home appliance manufacturing company in Benton Harbor, Michigan. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the customer experience by defining the product strategy for D2C (direct-to-consumer) payments.

In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end payments product roadmap, from ideation to execution. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure a seamless, secure, and efficient purchasing experience for customers buying directly from the brand. This is a chance to apply your expertise in a tangible way, making a real difference for a company that impacts homes around the world.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in payment systems and a proven ability to lead product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Payments Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain the payments vision and strategy, aligning it with company objectives and customer needs.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure product priorities are aligned with business needs.

Performance Monitoring: Use data and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement to optimize payment performance and enhance user experience.

Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to all payment regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and security standards.

Requirements Management: Translate business needs into detailed specifications, creating and prioritizing a well-groomed product backlog for the development team.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on payments or financial technology.

Deep understanding of online payment gateways, billing systems, and eCommerce platforms.

Experience implementing various payment methods (e.g., credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.) in an eCommerce environment.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
