Are you an experienced Project Manager with a knack for strategic planning and process optimization? Wisdom Recruitments is seeking a talented US Citizen (USC) to join our leading global client in Beaverton, OR, as a Project Manager focusing on Global Repair Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to define tools and processes that drive organizational excellence and shape a new digital repair service.
About the Role:
This hybrid position in Beaverton, OR, is a contract role for 298 days, working full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time (PST). You’ll be instrumental in managing projects with a typical duration of 12 months or less and budgets up to $1 million, impacting multiple business functions with a regional and global scope.
Your primary focus will be on defining tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program/project management and process definition. Specifically, you will:
➤ Lead Global Repair Strategy: Work closely with EMEA and other GEO Project Managers to develop a comprehensive global repair strategy and roadmap.
➤ Drive Alignment: Consolidate disparate information and create clear roadmaps for key stakeholders to ensure global alignment.
➤ Capture Learnings: Identify and document key learnings from project implementations.
➤ Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely updates to all relevant stakeholders and coordinate success metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
➤ Project Scope Management: Define business benefits, requirements, and project scope, managing change control and its impacts.
➤ Project Time Management: Develop project schedules, manage task assignments, and track progress.
➤ Project Cost Management: Facilitate effort estimating, develop asset acquisition requirements, and track/report on actuals versus forecasts.
➤ Project Quality Management: Provide guidance on project methodology and best practices, define success criteria, and monitor delivery.
➤ Project Risk Management: Define risk management plans, analyze criticality, probability, and impact, and develop mitigation strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience, including comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert.
✅ Alternative qualifications accepted: PhD or Law + 8 years; Master’s + 9 years; Associate’s degree + 11 years; High School + 12 years.
Skills:
✅ Proven experience as a Project Manager in a non-IT environment.
✅ Ability to help develop and align global strategies.
✅ Strong capability to pull together and consolidate information.
✅ Excellent communication skills for timely stakeholder updates.
✅ Experience coordinating success metrics.
