Job Description
A leading multinational IT company in Sri Lanka, a client of Wisdom RecruitmentS, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role based in Colombo, offering a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects using a modern technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
⮞ Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Java for the backend and Angular for the frontend.
⮞ Lead the implementation of new features and functionalities, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.
⮞ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new products.
⮞ Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
⮞ Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and performance.
⮞ Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
Required Qualifications
✅ A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
✅ A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
✅ Proven expertise in Java development, including frameworks like Spring Boot.
✅ Strong proficiency in Angular (version 2+) and a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
✅ Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
✅ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
