Location: 100% Remote (US Client)

Duration: 243 days (Approx. 12 months)

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Pay Rate: USD $90.00 – $95.00/hr

Work Timings: Regular Flexible Hours (Aligned with GMT -0400 / US Eastern Time for core collaboration)

Visa Requirement: U.S. Citizen (USC) or Green Card Holder (GC)

Are you an experienced Data Engineer with deep expertise in Capital Markets and hands-on TradingHub implementation?

Our premier US-based client in the financial sector is seeking a highly skilled TradingHub Engineer to join their technology team remotely. This critical role involves architecting, building, and maintaining the end-to-end data pipelines that power their trade surveillance and market abuse detection capabilities using the TradingHub platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to leverage their financial domain knowledge, technical prowess (Python/C#/SQL), and familiarity with regulatory compliance to deliver high-impact, real-time solutions.

Core Responsibilities

As a TradingHub Engineer, you will be the technical expert responsible for the integrity and flow of trading data into the surveillance ecosystem:

ETL Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust, performant ETL pipelines (Extract, Transform, Load) to aggregate large volumes of complex data from various internal and external financial market sources.

TradingHub Configuration: Configure, integrate, and tune the TradingHub trade surveillance platform to ensure optimal data quality, completeness, and performance in line with client requirements.

Domain Expertise: Apply deep capital markets knowledge across Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivatives to ensure accurate data mapping, normalization, and transformation processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with Compliance, Trading, and Risk teams to translate regulatory requirements into precise data flow logic, ensuring strict alignment with market abuse detection standards.

Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot, resolve, and perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and production incidents, continually optimizing pipelines for speed and efficiency.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all data pipelines, mappings, and platform configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or similar roles within Financial Services or Capital Markets.

Platform Expertise (Non-Negotiable): Hands-on, verifiable TradingHub trade surveillance implementation experience is mandatory.

Programming: Strong proficiency in SQL and demonstrable expertise in Python or C# for data manipulation and scripting.

Financial Knowledge: Deep, working understanding of market data, trading workflows, and regulatory concepts related to trade surveillance and market abuse detection.

Data Technologies (Preferred): Experience utilizing high-volume databases such such as SQL Server or Oracle, and familiarity with Big Data platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
